Booking and Fees
- Unless otherwise stated, all courses must be paid in full for your place to be secured.
- My Little Chef at Home offers an online booking service; once the booking form has been completed and submitted, payment in full received and the booking validated by My Little Chef at Home, you will be sent confirmation of your booking via the email address you have provided. Bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions and our website terms and conditions, which are incorporated.
- Receiving an email acknowledgement of payment confirms your request to book a child on a My Little Chef at Home Course.
- For safety reasons, we can only guarantee a place on any course to those booking in advance. Those that arrive on the day will not be guaranteed a spot.
- All bookings are subject to the right to cancel in writing (by email to us) within seven (7) calendar days from the date you receive email acknowledgement of the booking under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Outside of this seven (7) day period, all bookings confirmed by us are final and non-refundable.
- Medical information – Any medical conditions that any participant may have must be fully disclosed in writing when booking My Little Chef at Home and to the cookery teacher at the Activity or the venue.
- YOU MUST ONLY BOOK THE COURSE FOR THE SCHOOL YOUR CHILD ATTENDS. For safeguarding reason, the school will only accept children who attend their school.
Your Conduct
- You must comply with all rules and regulations issued by My Little Chef at Home.
- If My Little Chef at Home considers that you or the person you have booked onto a course have behaved unacceptably, My Little Chef at Home will be entitled to require you to cease to attend any course. My Little Chef will not refund for the remaining sessions and we cannot reallocate your place.
- Pupils who break any essential rules physically or verbally attached to another pupil or staff member will be banned from clubs or holiday camps.
- If a child physically hits, and is highly disruptive in the club, or does not listen to golden rules, it will be a reason to be banned from our clubs.
Liability
- We make every effort to ensure the cooking workshops are as safe and enjoyable as possible; however, please be aware that cooking may, on occasion, involve the use of potentially dangerous kitchen utensils and equipment, including but not limited to knives, graters, peelers, hobs, ovens, food processors.
- My Little Chef at Home has a rigorous set of safety procedures, including appropriate insurance to minimize the risks of any potential hazard. Still, we cannot be held responsible for any injury or damage that might occur during My Little Chef at Home activity.
- My Little Chef at Home will not be liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any event beyond our reasonable control.
- My Little Chef at Home has public liability insurance with coverage provided by Policy Bee.
- We make every effort to ensure the cooking workshops are as safe and enjoyable as possible; however, please be aware that cooking may occasionally involve potentially dangerous kitchen utensils and equipment.
Film and Photography
- My Little Chef at Home may take photographs/film of any Course. This data is solely used to promote and publicize My Little Chef at Home Activities through literature, website, social media, press and TV.
- Parents/guardians that do not wish for their child to be photographed/filmed must make My Little Chef at Home aware of this at the time of booking or in writing before the course starts (where possible, My Little Chef at Home will inform parents/guardians at the start of a class).
- My Little Chef at Home will hold all personal data according to its privacy policy.
Promotions
- My Little Chef at Home may offer a Sibling Discount to bookings by family members when booking more than one child with the same surname online for any activity. You must book your child simultaneously and on the same form for the discount to apply. The discount is applied to the sibling(s), not the first child.
Health and Safety
- A full risk assessment will occur before any activity occurs at a new venue. My Little Chef at Home holds a current emergency aid certificate issued by an appropriate body.
- By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are providing consent for My Little Chef at Home staff to administer all necessary first aid to your child as required at any time.
- For safety reasons, all attendees must wear an apron and tie their long hair back.
- Medication: If your child has any allergies, we require complete information and a written plan to be shared. We can't administrate any medication to any child (the school won't allow it as per Safeguarding). Still, we can provide first aid support when the nurse or school staff is not around in an emergency.
- Disabilities: We welcome all pupils from all backgrounds and disabilities. However, it is essential to let us know where it is applicable. If a child has a plan, we will request a copy; that way, we can help regulate the child and be safe in the cooking club. When there is no educational plan, we suggest you call and let us know as many details as possible about your child and their situation. We will accommodate any situation where it is safe.
Program Changes
- My Little Chef at Home will be entitled to change any course's timing and content and to substitute any teacher at any time.
- If My Little Chef at Home has to cancel a class or course for any reason, a credit note for the total value of the booking fee paid will be issued to the person who booked or alternative provisions to stage the class or course at another time will be arranged and confirmed to all. If you are unable to attend at the alternative time and confirm this with My Little Chef at Home, you will be issued a credit note for the total value of the booking fee paid.
- Action of Strikes. If the school decides to go on teachers' strikes, we will not issue any refund but will recover the missed lesson in two classes in the same term time. Children won't be allowed to recover any club in a different club.
- My little Chef at home will not refund where the school changes or ask us to change the club date (due Christmas, Sports Day, day trips or any other day mandated by the school). As well as when teachers' strikes take place.
- Our insurance only accepts a child fully booked in our club. We can't accept replacing your child with another child if they can't attend the club.
Collection
- Any child that is collected must be collected by a parent or guardian. Any other arrangements must be provided in writing.
- Any child that usually walks home unaccompanied will only be allowed to leave unaccompanied if a parent or guardian has provided written consent before the commencement of the Activity.
- All our clubs end on time, and our insurance does not cover your child after a 5-minute delay. If you are late more than twice, we will ask to remove your child from our club.

Complaints
- If you or your child are dissatisfied with the service we provide, please raise it with the teacher at the Activity in the first instance. They will deal with the problem following our policies and procedures.
- If the problem still needs to be resolved satisfactorily, please write to us at info@mylittlechefathome.com within seven days of the child's attendance.
- • We take your views and complaints very seriously and will endeavor to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. Refunds will only be issued if My Little Chef at Home is proven to breach these Terms &Conditions.
Information
- The information on this site is updated regularly. However, we currently exclude any warranties (expressed or implied) as to the quality, accuracy, efficacy, completeness, performance, and fitness for a particular purpose of the site.
- These Terms and Conditions form your agreement with My Little Chef at Home.
- By booking an Activity with My Little Chef at Home, you acknowledge your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have not relied on any representation other than those contained within these Terms and Conditions.
- If a competent Court finds any term within these Terms and Conditions unenforceable, then such term shall be struck out. Still, the remaining terms within these Terms and Conditions shall continue in force to the full extent permitted by law.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
